What is that thing?

Here it is. The “thing” Charis received for her birthday.

Ok, I’ll give you hint. It is meant to be used on ice.

Kids ATR (across the river) use these toys as ….

skates.

Both feet fit into the skate, you squat down, and use the poles to help you slide around on the ice. It is much harder than it appears.

She didn’t make it very far, but it was fun trying. At least when you fall, you don’t have far to go before hitting the ground; still, I think I’ll stick to ice skates.
