Just a peek at our celebration this year.
Funny hats and glowing noses…just how we roll.
Decorations and lights.
And, it is nearly impossible to get a serious family picture with this group. That’s ok, because it is a great reminder of what life really looks like around our house.
Holiday celebrations mean lots and lots of baking. Sugar cookies, gingerbread, cheese balls, and so much more.
Time with friends.
Visits to and from Jolly Old St. Nick. Mei-Mei made sure to give her list of wants to Santa.
Then comes the waiting on Christmas morn. No kids allowed in the living room until Mom and Dad are up and ready. ☺ And it isn’t my fault if I have to have my coffee, first.
The favorite gift this year…a family gift for all the girls (and parents) to enjoy.
Mei-Mei like her gift, too.
The celebration is not complete without the Christmas Story and names of Christ.
Rachel reads while her sisters “act out” the story with our homemade nativity set. The girls have informed me that we need to make more people. They don’t like having the wisemen double as King Herod and Anna has to stand in as Elizabeth. Yes, we do the WHOLE Christmas story.
Traditional holiday omelets served up by my favorite Broncos fan.
A rousing game of Mexican train with the whole family. (Ok, to be fair, Hanissa only played two rounds and decided her Christmas presents missed her. 😉 )
And, top it all off…our Christmas was white.
Merry Christmas to each of you. May joy and peace from our Father fill your homes this next year.
